R.W.B. John Dollimount

 A retired High School administrator. He is married to Caroline (nee MacDonald ) and they have two daughters, one son and three granddaughters.

 John was Raised on March 5, 1979 in Canam Lodge # 7219 EC at Stephenville, NL. He served the various offices of the Lodge and was Master in 1986. He served several offices with the Grand Lodge of Newfoundland including District Grand Master for Western Newfoundland in 1999.

 Upon retiring to Nova Scotia in 2005 he affiliated with Acacia # 39, served several offices of the Lodge and was Master in 2009. He served as DDGM for Lunenburg-Queen’s District in 2006-07; He has served on several committees of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia and currently is a member of Virgin Lodge # 3.

 John served on the Board of the Masonic Foundation of Nova Scotia for eight years including six years as the chair of the Benevolence committee and three years as chair of the Foundation.

 Over the years he has been active in both the Scottish and York Rite Concordant bodies and has had the opportunity to serve in leadership roles in both including;

Grand High Priest (Capitulary Masonry), Grand Master (Cryptic Masonry), Grand Sovereign (Constantine Masonry), Provincial Prior ( Sovereign Grand Priory of Canada), Grand Governor NS (York Rite Sovereign College). He is a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and has served as  Most Wise Sovereign (Rose Croix). He is also a member of The Royal Order of Scotland and the Order of the Secret Monitor.
